Job Summary
The Manager, Onboarding & Integration is responsible for leading the successful onboarding, system integration, and early lifecycle experience of new HaloMD clients. This role ensures a seamless transition from contract execution through go-live and stabilization, aligning client workflows, systems, and teams with HaloMD's products and operational standards.

This position blends client-facing leadership, technical and operational execution, and cross-functional coordination. The Manager partners closely with Business Development, Data Integration, Operations, and Client Success teams to deliver high-quality implementations, mitigate risk, and accelerate time-to-value for new clients. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, comfortable managing complexity while executing detailed onboarding and integration work.
 
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership
  • Own the end-to-end onboarding and integration experience for new clients, from kickoff through "Go-Live'.
  • Identify at-risk implementations early and proactively escalate or intervene to ensure successful delivery.
  • Continually seek opportunities to improve onboarding processes, tools, documentation, and methodologies.
  • Regularly communicate status, risks, and outcomes to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Client Onboarding
  • Lead onboarding engagements following established processes while adapting to client-specific needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination for new client implementations during the onboarding phase.
  • Gather and validate client requirements, workflows, and operational data to support system configuration and integration.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure contractual deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities are clearly understood and executed.
  • Maintain proactive, structured communication with new clients, with heightened focus until Client "Go-Live'.
System Configuration & Integration
  • Partner with Data Integrations and Operations teams to support configuration of HaloMD systems.
  • Support data migration, system integration, and testing activities as required.
  • Troubleshoot onboarding and configuration issues, coordinating resolution across internal teams.
  • Ensure integrations align with HaloMD operational standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.
 Early Lifecycle Management
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key client stakeholders during onboarding and early adoption.
  • Proactively manage issues, risks, and dependencies to ensure timely resolution and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to review progress, outstanding items, capture deliverables, and readiness for next phases.
  • Serve as the voice of the client during onboarding, sharing insights and feedback with Client Success, Data Integrations, and Operations teams.
 
Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in client onboarding, implementation, integration, or client-facing operations, preferably within healthcare, or revenue cycle management.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Data Integration, Operations, and Client Success teams.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems, healthcare workflows, or revenue cycle operations strongly preferred.

Skills & Specialized Knowledge
  • Strong project and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfort managing ambiguity and adapting to evolving client and business needs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused with a client-first mindset.
